We have been been so busy lately… today I post more work to the blog.
This is a logo we designed for Sound Futures and Sound Futures Society, run by Seanine Joyce, who has worked for over 20 years as a professional musician, piano and composition teacher and lecturer and, since 2000, a media and film composer. And also a really cool person. She provides sound and music-led creative training and resources as a fun and effective way to engage children in learning.
The top logo is for Sound Futures, the company's commercial branch. The bottom logo is for the company's sister company, Sound Futures Society, the not-for-profit branch. As they are branches of the same company, they are similar.
This type-based logo has a music note suggested in the shape of the 'd'. It moves up and ahead in an energised and inspiring way. You may notice the crescendo sign, a musical notation meaning accelerated sound. The overall look and feel is reflective of the company: fun and approachable, and also professional and effective.
As they say in Quebec, "A+"
