    Suzan!

Came across this image of the Michigan Theater in Detroit, which was built in 1926 and used as a performance space until 1976, when it was converted into a parking garage. The contrast of something so grand and so mundane is fascinating. And of course appeals to our soft spot for beautiful decay! Very MOTHandRUST, no?
